In May 2018, Parliament had passed legislation for Dorset’s nine councils to merge into two unitary authorities. Under the plans due to come into effect in April 2019, Dorset County Council, East Dorset, North Dorset, Purbeck, Weymouth & Portland and West Dorset would merge to form one of the new authorities, Dorset County Council.
For the Dorset Council branding I was lead designer and designed all branding assets, as well as brand guidelines, which were used on the roll-out for the new council.
